Dry Van Trucking Jobs with Crete Carrier
As a nationwide company specializing in dry van trucking jobs, Crete is currently hiring National, Regional, Home Weekly, Dedicated, and Team drivers.
Crete drivers must be at least 22 years old and have one year of verifiable tractor trailer experience and a Class A CDL with Haz-Mat endorsement issued by their state of residence. Crete does accept qualified student drivers who have successfully completed training at an approved school. In addition, Crete drivers must have a stable work history and an acceptable driving record, and they must pass the company and Department of Transportation physical exam, drug test, and driving test.
All applicants cleared for hire by Crete Carrier are required to attend truck driver orientation at one of four locations: Lincoln, Nebraska; Lenoir City, Tennessee; New Kingstown, Pennsylvania; or Wilmer, Texas. Transportation, lodging, meals, and a stipend will be paid to company drivers upon successful completion of orientation.
Being independently certified as a Top Paying Carrier by the National Transportation Institute, Crete offers one of the most comprehensive truck driver pay packages in the industry. Crete pays drivers using Practical Route Miles, which reflect about 2 to 4 percent more miles than competitors’ Short Route Miles.
